Founded in 2018 by Valerie Wray, Umbrella Sky draws on years of expertise from the fashion, music, and marketing industries to create unforgettable experiential marketing events.
Valerie has curated high-impact activations for major brands across the country, including at prestigious events like the Super Bowl, Essence Fest, Grammys, BET Awards, All-Star Weekend, and NY Fashion Week. As a small business owner, she understands the unique challenges smaller businesses face in gaining exposure in premium markets.

Determined to bridge that gap, Valerie used her background to offer small businesses the same level of creativity and impact. Her first success was in Hudson, NY, where she launched a weekly outdoor pop-up that united artisans, music, and consumers in a beautifully curated, festive atmosphere.

Raised in a family of chefs, Valerie always believed that food, like music, has the power to create lasting memories. Drawing inspiration from her travels, she crafts experiences that blend global cuisine, local marketplaces, and live music, offering attendees an immersive cultural journey.
